The “Yes Man” is having a difficult time living up to his name, as Jim Carrey has not been able to utter the words in the search for his new NYC digs.
Privacy and outdoor space are of utmost priority for the comedian—two qualifications that are few and far between in a New York City apartment.
The actor was reportedly quite taken with the unit’s floor-to-ceiling windows and 1,076 square ft. terrace. However, such openness poses the issue of nosy onlookers, which is what drove Carrey out of his former Richard Meier property in the West Village.
Magora Trading Limited purchased the penthouse for $6.9 million in December. Listing agent Heather Cook of Corcoran just sold the property. Details on the buyer have yet to be disclosed.
