YOU WALK, I WAG Jesse Baron of Spot Experience takes Lucky for a walk near the Aldyn. The company, Spot Experience, in partnership with Rose Associates, a property manager, is rolling out dog day care in Rose buildings.
(New York, NY) — In recent years, we have been seeing more and more luxury residences throughout Manhattan catering to the needs of dog owners with building amenities such as a dog walk or puppy playground.

This summer, property management company, Rose Associates has definitely upped the ante on this growing trend by partnering with New York’s premier dog care group, The Spot Experience to better accommodate its four-legged residents in style.

“We were very selective when choosing a real estate partner for our dog amenity program and are pleased to team with Rose Associates, who exemplifies the highest standards in excellence and service, making it a natural fit for us,” said Mitch Marrow, CEO and founder of The Spot Experience.

This month, the Aldyn and Ashley on the Upper West Side are the first buildings in Rose’s extensive property portfolio to feature Spot’s high-level dog care amenity program, which includes a full array of services offered both in-house and off-site. Next up are the Visionaire, Solaire and Verdesian in Battery Park City – slated to implement Spot’s dog care concierge services by the fall.

Towards the end of October, residents living in twenty of Rose’s dog-friendly buildings will also be granted access to this highly anticipated amenity. According to the manager of Rose Associates’ concierge program, Jamie Kaufman, the management company’s fifty-six dog-friendly buildings can expect to see the program rolled out at an approximate rate of three to four buildings per month.

With four locations throughout Manhattan and one at Newark Airport, The Spot Experience offers premium dog daycare, training, grooming, walking and retail pet services. As an added feature, Spot is now transporting dogs from daycare to their homes – a service exclusive to the Rose Associate dog amenity program.

In addition, Spot is waiving membership fees to all residents of buildings that have enlisted its services. They will also be entitled to discounts and priority access to services. Typically, weekly dog care runs about $26 to $28 per day. So by providing an option to save on these dog care expenses, along with the convenience factor of in-house care, Rose is clearly adding significant value to its dog owning residents.

Truly the first-of-its-kind, the partnership between Rose and Spot is creating the ultimate dog care amenity. In a city filled with dog owning tenants, resident access to the highest caliber of dog services in Manhattan in a luxury concierge fashion should prove to be a major competitive advantage for Rose Associates.
