This 1,079-foot supertall is home to the tallest outdoor office terrace in Manhattan.

(New York, NY) — 3 World Trade Center is the fifth tallest tower in NYC. The 1,079-foot supertall marks the completion of four out of the five buildings planned to make up the World Trade Center complex.

The tower was designed by the famous architect Richard Rogers, and offers 2.5 million square feet of office space.

The 80-story building includes three outdoor terraces, five floors of retail, and ceiling heights that range from about 13 feet to 24 feet.

The developer Silverstein Properties also built 4 and 7 World Trade Center and is working to complete 2 World Trade, the final tower.

The project has brought a new light to Lower Manhattan and is another step in its comeback after the tragedy of 9/11.
