(NEW YORK, NY) — Imagine living in a luxury NYC apartment for just $858 a month. For some lucky New Yorkers, that dream is about to become a reality.
Hudson Yards’ residential skyscraper, 15 Hudson Yards, has opened an affordable housing lottery for 107 of its units.
Those who qualify for the lottery must be making 50 to 60 percent of the area median income, that means a salary that is between $31,303 and $62,580 per year, depending on the size of the household. Priority will be given to members of Manhattan Community Board 4.
The units range from studios for $858 a month to two-bedrooms for $1,350 a month.
The skyscraper, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, is an 88-story tower made up of four arcs of glass, allowing every angle to show a stunning view of the Hudson River and the NYC skyline.
Along with the affordable apartments, winners of the lottery will also have access amenities such as a laundry room, children’s playroom, swimming pool, yoga studio, media room, and a rooftop deck with stunning views.
The deadline to apply is December 13, 2018. For more information on how to apply visit NYC Housing Connect.
