(NEW YORK, NY) — Earlier this month, PropertyShark released a report on the most expensive New York City neighborhoods of 2018.
To no one’s surprise, Tribeca claimed the top spot with a median home sale price of $3.85 million. The neighborhood went up from its number 2 ranking last year.
The report states that although Tribeca’s prices dropped 18% year-over-year, the neighborhood still had $850,000 over this year’s number two, SoHo. SoHo’s median home sale price was just under $3 million with a total of 117 residential deals.
As for Tribeca, the Manhattan hotspot saw a total of 289 transactions in 2018.
