Top NYC broker, Lindsay Barton Barrett, goes from Compass to Douglas Elliman

Barton Barrett closed more than $200 million in sales last year

(NEW YORK, NY) — Last week, Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that former Compass associate broker, Lindsay Barton Barrett, will join its New York City team, according to Inman.

In 2017, Barton Barrett closed more than $200 million in sales. But before she began mastering the art of real estate sales, Barton Barrett was a real estate attorney in New York City.

In 2003, Barton Barrett joined The Corcoran Group, where she stayed for 12 years. Back in 2006, she was the broker behind the $10.75 million sale of 140 Columbia Heights, which took the title as the highest priced townhouse in Brooklyn. In 2015, she joined Compass.

Barton Barrett has spent the majority of her real estate sales career specializing in new developments and townhouses. According to Inman, her move to Elliman was due to the brokerage’s long list of successful work with new developments.

Barrett will be working out of Douglas Elliman’s 111 Fifth Avenue office.
