(NEW YORK, NY)— Lewis Hamilton, the British racing driver who races in Formula One for Mercedes AMG Petronas, has just bought a $40 million penthouse in Manhattan, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The five-time world champion bought the penthouse at 70 Vestry Street— named one of Manhattan’s most expensive condo buildings in 2018.
This is not Hamilton’s first purchase in the big apple. He has recently purchase a $43million five-bedroom property at 433 Greenwich Street, just a block away.
The Tribeca condo building, 70 Vestry Street, is partly owned by football superstar Tom Brady and is a well-known building among New York’s wealthiest.
