(NEW YORK, NY) — Ken Griffin is officially the owner of a $238 million penthouse, the most expensive home ever sold in the U.S.
The billionaire hedge-fund manager purchased the stunning 23,000-square-foot pad at 220 Central Park South.
This deal stole the title from hedge-fund manager, Barry Rosenstein who bought a stunning Hamptons estate for $137 million back in 2014.
220 Central Park South was designed by Robert A.M. Stern and is still under construction. Griffin’s new penthouse will take up the entire 50 to 53 floors of the skyscraper.
Griffin purchased the NYC penthouse just days after purchasing a $122 million mansion in London. According to Bloomberg, he is worth a total of $8.84 billion.
