(NEW YORK, NY) — Queens is a hotspot for new developments. Falcon Pacific Builders announced that they have topped out the construction of a 50 unit rental and retail building located at 28-16 21st Street in the Astoria.
The milestone was announced earlier this month by President, Kent M. Swig, and Chief Executive Officer, Carl Schwartz.
“We are very pleased to have been selected for this new Astoria construction project and are thrilled to be nearing completion,” said Swig.
The seven-story building will have 58,000-square-feet of residential space and 11,000-square-feet of retail space.
“We are thrilled to have reached this milestone in the construction of this new project in Queens for the developer, the Saab Family LP. The project, when completed in late November 2019, will provide much needed affordable rental housing in this vibrant Astoria, Queens neighborhood,” said Schwartz.
The building was designed to boast recreational space amenities, common spaces, and a rear tenant courtyard.
