Celebrity Spotlight: It took rapper 50 Cent how long to sell this 21-bedroom mansion?

(NEW YORK, NY) 50 Cent tried to sell a 21-bedroom mansion in Connecticut for over a decade.

Back in 2003, at the rise of his career, 50 Cent bought the mansion from Mike Tyson. But its overwhelming upkeep forced him to put it back on the market for $14.5 million just four years later.

Over the past decade, the house was listed on and off. 50 Cent was desperate to sell and even brought on Fredrik Eklund from Million Dollar Listing New York to work his magic. However, nothing worked.

It was announced on an episode of Million Dollar Listing that 50 Cent would donate the mansion to his charity, G-Unity Foundation, which serves low-income youth and communities.

However, there may have been a change of plans. According to a report by TMZ, the mansion has just been sold for a surprisingly low $3 million.  Leaving 50 Cent with an 84% loss.

The report also states that 50 Cent will donate the money to his G-Unity Foundation.
