Fresh from sabbatical in Europe with a new outlook on life, Ortiz has to prove to his team and peers that he is back in the real estate business for good. Not only will Ortiz have to deal with workplace drama, but he also has to deal with drama in his personal life. In addition to the stress of re-entering the ever-changing real estate market of NYC, he has to prove he’s still got it.

After all this time away, Ortiz is ready for his close-up again and ready to dig back into the real estate game. If you have noticed in the trailer, he is rocking an edgier look, not like anything we’ve seen him wear before.
Ortiz joins returning agents, Ryan Serhant, Fredrik Eklund, and Steve Gold, as well as newbie MDLNY agent Tyler Whitman, for the new season, starting Thursday, August 1 at 9/8c. In the years since, Luis has traveled the globe and even popped in on MDLNY to hang with co-stars Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund, even flying to Greece to attend Serhant’s wedding while filming MDLNY Ryan’s Wedding.
