Hailey and Justin Bieber
One month after revealing that the two waited until marriage to be intimate, the couple purchased a stunning 5-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion.
The all-white house also has white oak-paneled floors, steel case windows, a sunken family room, and an art-deco style bar downstairs. It was nearly completely remodeled by its sellers.
One feature that particularly drew Justin in was the Beverly-Hills hotel inspired screening room, especially since he basically lived in the Pink Palace while single.
Hopefully, Justin’s previous home-owning antics, like the Calabasas egging incident, the constant knock-ins from the police telling him to tone down his parties, and the reckless driving will tone down after settling with his beautiful bride. According to the Observer, dozens of Beverly Hills residents started a coalition to stop Bieber from moving in, but apparently have given him a second chance after his marriage.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Three months before Nick proposed (did you see that gorgeousness in India?!), Nick bought him and his soon-to-be wife a $6.5 million house in Beverly Hills, and it was surely worth every penny. The house has a pool, a huge outdoor/patio space, a movie theater, an entertainment room with a pool table, and high mountain views.
And although he just shelled out millions for the 5-bedroom in April 2018, he’s also looking at ranch listings so he can one day move to a farm with Priyanka (Paul and Linda McCartney vibes anyone?). According to his brothers, he still sends them ranch listings to see what they think, and Chopra-Jonas is completely fine with the idea of some sweet country seclusion.
Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod
Only since March have JLo and A-Rod been engaged, and they’ve already sold their Park Ave apartment at a big 2 million dollar discount a couple of days ago. The apartment was too small for both of their families, and the couple had already bought Jeremy Piven’s Malibu home for 6.6 million dollars back in February.
They must be busy with home renovations, as they described it as a “fixer-upper.” A-Rod even hired Joanna Gaines of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” to think of a good remodeling plan. The beachfront home is a three-story with three bedrooms and bathrooms.
But although they’re working on their Malibu home, JLo currently owns a pricey mansion in Bel Air (LA’s most expensive neighborhood). The stunning 7-bedroom has 14,000 sq ft of living space and was owned and mostly remodeled by Ward. She paid a cool 28 million dollars (it was originally 40 million). Although 28 million is off the charts (less so for this actress and popular singer), the home is literally like one from a fairytale. I would highly recommend getting the full glance at this home.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom
Although their engagement was just in February (and Perry was given an unconventional flower engagement ring), Bloom had to sell his Beverly Hills bachelor pad just after having remodeled it for years. Bloom had added a pool, sunken living room seating, and new decking.
Perry also had decided her Hidden Hills compound for more privacy. Although the location is somewhat remote (on top of a canyon), it is nearby a public walking trail. The home had been on sale for two-and-a-half years. It is unclear if the smaller house adjacent to the larger had been sold off as well.
While she was looking for a buyer, Perry had already bought a house last year for about $7.5 million in a much more secluded location in LA’s exclusive Hidden Valley Estates. This would be her second home in the neighborhood, as she bought another one for nearly $18 million in 2017 for a five-bedroom villa. I’m guessing Bloom will be moving in with Perry as she finalized this deal late last year.
Karamo Brown and Ian Jordan
Last February Queer Eye star Karamo Brown bought a renovated 60’s style $1.24 million dollar home in California’s San Fernando Valley. His wedding to assistant director Ian Jordan is coming up in 2020, and he’ll need a nice calm retreat to return to as he works on season five of the show in Philadelphia. Brown bought a five-bedroom apartment with a pool, spa, poolside gazebo, large windows, and hardwood floors. There are also his-and-his sinks (wink wink).
Brown has been engaged to Jordan since 2018, and has two sons. The house will be a great space to entertain guests, write his new memoir, and a great place to plan his wedding (and he is planning on having a big one!).
