(LOS ANGELES, CA)—An unnamed, “semi-retired” Star Wars super-fan is selling off his $26.5 million LA mansion—with the option to buy out part of his extensive Star Wars collection, too, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The collector’s room includes life-sized figures of Yoda and Darth Vader, in addition to scenery from the popular series and a complete recreation of the cantina from Star Wars “Episode IV.” The pieces are mostly specially commissioned, according to The Wall Street Journal. The owner felt that props from the movie would not be of the same high quality as what he could get custom-made. The basement alone is 5,000 square feet.
The 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom mansion itself is 18,600 square feet, and also includes a home movie theater, a wine cellar, a fitness studio and an indoor pool, Sac Bee reports. In addition to the Star Wars room, the 3-acre property also has an outdoor pool, a spa, a waterfall, a waterslide, a tennis court, a complete tree orchard, a garden, and, of course, an observatory with a telescope.
The mansion’s home movie theater is also Star Wars-inspired. The ceiling is made to mimic the view from the cockpit of a starship.
Arvin Haddad, Emil Hartoonian and Mauricio Umansky of the Agency have the listing.
